Riverside Medical Center Laboratory is a full service lab that provides 24 hours a day, seven days a week, coverage and is accredited by the Joint Commission. If you have any questions you may reach us at 985-795-4340.
We take pride in accepting all patient orders from any physician's office, so that all our patients' needs may be accommodated here at home. The laboratory also provides services for local nursing homes and home health agencies.
Our laboratory provides quality care with the latest technology in laboratory equipment and highly qualified technologists that operate as Generalist performing all duties in the laboratory with the exception of Microbiology; there are specialized technologist that perform Microbiology.
We also offer a full range of testing including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology and Blood Banking. Any testing that cannot be performed in house will be sent out to a reference lab for testing.
