Riverside Medical Center is dedicated to fulfilling its Mission to provide quality healthcare services in a safe, compassionate, and cost-efficient environment to the residents of Washington Parish and the surrounding areas.  There is nothing more important in meeting this Mission than having the Team to do it.

As I approach my one-year anniversary with Riverside Medical Center, I pause to reflect on the incredible healthcare team that I joined. Not every rural community hospital has the talent, skill, and knowledge our Team holds.

We have nearly 350 professionals on our team and over 125 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants that are credentialed and privileged at Riverside Medical Center.  Our community deserves the best healthcare in the world, and this dedicated team provides it every day.

We have recently employed and partnered with 6 new doctors. Every patient that visits our Emergency Room or is admitted to the hospital will be seen and cared for by an Emergency Medicine or Hospitalist doctor, 24/7/365. Riverside clinics boast 13 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Our services now include a surgeon who specializes in urogynecology and pelvic reconstruction.  Additionally, we have expanded our primary care services to include addiction treatment. These new services are much needed in our community.
