RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Licensed Practical Nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients during an assigned shift.

Shall be responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice, and for managing supplies and equipment under the direction of the Clinic Director.

Must follow accepted safety practices for patients and clinic; report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action and must participate in safety instructional programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or equivalent. Must possess a current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse license with 2 years' experience preferred.

Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
