Chief Financial Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing strategic leadership for the hospital by working with the Administrative Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. Directs and oversees all the financial activities of the hospital in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, including preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.

Must report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action.

Must participate in safety instructional programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor of Science or Arts degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with an accounting or business administration degree. Three years financial experience in health care setting preferred. Healthcare finance experience is required. CPA preferred. Critical Access Hospital experience is preferred.

Have a proven track record of leadership and management experience for a minimum of three years in a health care environment.

Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.

Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
