Accounting Tech

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounting Tech shall be primarily responsible for accounting functions of the hospital accounting systems as well as other accounting functions as needed.

Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, or employment status of patients and team members of Riverside Medical Center and their families.

Must follow accepted safety practices for patients and hospital.

Must report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action.

Must participate in safety instructional programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a high school education or equivalent. Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
